Happy Valentines Day! 

Yesterday morning I had a surprise waiting for me at the mail!! Ok not exactly a 'surprise', because I bought it for myself, but anyway I was super excited to receive my new bag from JustFab!

Before I start describing the bag, I really really recommend you signing up to become a member of this cute site. It is very easy, you take a quizz about your personal style and then every month you receive an email with shoes and bags for you to choose based on your profile and style. And the most amazing part is that EVERYTHING costs  £35! And you get an extra 20% off at your first purchase.   

I fell in looooove with this fuchsia Daredevil bag and had it on my wishlist for a few weeks! It costed me £28, because it was my first purchase. The design is inspired by Stella McCartney Falabella bags, it is very similar, but it is not a replica of McCartney bags.

I haven't used the bag yet, so in the pictures the shape looks a bit weird, but  the base will get its structure as I start wearing it.

What I also liked about the bag is that it is very light and the chain straps don't cut into my shoulders! Usually my bags are full and very heavy, so I tried carrying it with the same amount of things and it still feels quite light, not heavy at all. There is some extra chain inside if you want to use it.    

                                                     

The color is amazing and very vibrant, all my bags are black or grey or brown..so it a nice change!

The material is not leather, but it still looks super nice and fierce, not at all 'trashy'. The size is average to quite big, it comes up to my hips (I am short and petite 1.57 cm!) and  you can wear it both ways, with the flap hanging down or with the flap upwards.

 

The delivery was super quick, I received the bag within 3 days, it came in this cute box.

Happy Valentines Day!

I have always enjoyed Valentines Day, mostly because I love the fact that everywhere I go I see flowers, hearts, chocolates..It makes my day! However, I wont blog about Valentines gift ideas, what to eat, places to go etc., because

1. there are already so many cool ideas online

2.I wont be doing anything special today (my boyfriend lives in Greece)

So instead I thought it would be nice to share with you some cute pictures of my yorkie Chanel in her Valentines Day outfit going for a walk!

Wolford Limited Edition Heart Tights

Hey!

 

A few days ago I received an email from Wolford saying that on the 11th of February they are launching some new limited edition tights for Valentine's Day!

 

The tights are nude colour with a sexy black line climbing up the legs and the cutest part...at the end of the line there is a heart decorated with Swarovski crystals!

 

The only bad thing is that only Wolford customers who are registered can buy it, but you can become a customer anytime at any Wolford shop.  

 

They are a bit pricy (£39), especially if you are like me and you accidentally destroy all your tights every time you wear them, but trust me Wolford's quality is amazing. I think they will look sooooo good with a simple black dress and some nice heels.

I look forward to wearing them!

Shu Uemura -Cleansing Beauty Oil

One day I ran out of my makeup remover so I was having a look at my mum's skincare products and I came across Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil Premium A/O. 

I had never used oil in my face, and because I tend to have  breakouts, I was very scared to use it, but had no other choice as I try to always remove my makeup before I go to bed. 

It worked so well for my skin that the next day I went to buy one for myself! The lady at the counter suggested me the Premium A/O oil, which contains anti-oxidant ingredients and helps to hydrate the skin. 

  

                

As you can see, I have used it almost all up, it has lasted me for about  four months but I there is still quite a lot to use! I don't use it every day, just when I need to remove any makeup I might be wearing. I bought the 150ml bottle, because it is easier to pack when I am travelling.  

In the pictures I have some mascara, concealer and lipstick on my hand to show you how easy it is to use the cleansing oil. 

• You first apply the oil on dry face and massage it all over your face..yes even the eyes, don't worry it wont burn your eyes, it is ophthalmologically tested!

• Your face might be smudgy now but just rinse with water and see the results.....!!

       

               

My hand is perfectly clean, all makeup is gone!
However, I would suggest to double wash your face just to make sure everything is gone and your pores are clean. So after using Shu Uemura Oil I always use a gentle cleanser, like Cetaphil which I talked about on my previous post.

A brief summary

Pros:

• removes EVERYTHING very efficiently (makeup, creams, spots treatments..)
• only needs 1/2 pump (or less) for the whole face
• doesn't irritate the eyes
• nice texture
• doesn't dry skin
• no scent
• emulsifies very quickly and nicely
• didn't cause my to breakout
• big bottle and affordable 
• the packaging is pretty (limited edition bottles)

Cons:

• I wouldn't use it if I had acne, very oily skin or was having a breakout
• you always have to wash very well with water
• although after using it, I feel my skin moisturized and NOT greasy, I always to do a second wash with a gentle cleaner 

Each cleansing oil is suitable for a different type of skin!

Peggy Sage - The Best Nail Hardener!

During  Christmas I went back home to Greece for a couple of weeks and I had my nails done a few times (New Years Eve, Christmas parties,dinners etc..). But I noticed that every single time I had them done after 2 days they chipped and peeled, the color was gone and they looked so bad. 

So the lady in the nail salon recommended me Peggy Sage Nail Hardener. Women in Greece are going crazy about  this product, it is a best seller, so I decided to give it a try. 

I loved it!

The color is clear/transparent with one or even two coats, the brush has a size that makes it very easy to apply, but there is a specific method you have to follow when applying it!

• Brush on one coat the 1st and 2nd evenings and clean nail the third's and start all over again.
• Repeat this for two weeks.
• It can be used as a 1 month treatment, applying it as a base coat once a week. 

It doesn't only make weak and damaged nails stronger, but it also makes your nails look shiny!It is perfect for when you need a quick-easy-simple manicure at home!

Unfortunately, I cannot find this product anywhere in London, so I found a Greek site where you can order it online, they do UK deliveries, but only accept cash on delivery as a payment method.

It costs 15.50€, about £13.38.

Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

Hey!

A few months ago I had a small breakout on my face, so I visited my dermatologist who recommended me various products and one of them was Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser which I use everyday since then.


I did some research and read some reviews on this product and it seems that people will either love it or hate it. I personally really like it and use it every morning and night.


Like I said before my skin is very sensitive, and because Cetaphil is not harsh like most of face cleansers, I even use it sometimes during the day when I feel my skin either too oily or dehydrated.

The Pros of Cetaphil are:

• doesn't irritate or make my skin break out
• face is left feeling very smooth
• doesn't dry out my skin
• affordable (around £9)
• available almost everywhere (pharmacies and Boots)
• the texture is clear
• fragrance-free

The Cons of Cetaphil are:

• doesn't wash off makeup very well
• doesn't lather or bubbles* 

*Many people complain about the lack of lather, but it is actually a good thing it means that there are no lathering agents in the ingredients, which can wash off our natural oils leaving the skin dry!

Although in the description it says that it removes makeup, you can see in the pictures that it doesn't wash it off very efficiently (I have some mascara on my hand). I don't recommend it as a makeup remover, but as a secondary face cleanser, to be used after all the makeup is gone and wash off any impurities left behind!
